A vintage pedestal plate stand is an elevated, footed dish used as a decorative centrepiece for displaying fruit, sweets, or fancy little cakes.  But you can use it for whatever you like.  Looks especially wonderful filled with delicious pastries.

Details:

The design is called 'Arnold' Doulton Burslem, England circa 1900-1920

Condition:

There are flaws in the glaze in places as per the photos, and some crazing on the bottom of the foot, but it doesn't detract from what a delightful piece it is.

Please keep in mind that vintage or antique porcelain pieces have lived a long life and may show gentle signs of age and use. These can include small chips, fine hairlines, light wear, or glaze variations, all of which add to their character and history. We do our best to describe and photograph each piece as clearly as possible, and we encourage you to look closely at the details and please get touch with any questions before purchasing.
