Porcelain tureens were mainly used to serve hot foods at formal tables from the 17th century onwards. As well as keeping food warm as they're lidded, they were beautifully decorative.
Still useful as kitchen to table, we think they'd look wonderful just as a decorative piece on a dresser, a flower oasis for a gorgeous centrepiece, or how about giving a lovely glow to your table by filling them with wax sand. This one is really pretty with some fabulous gold detailing.

Some crazing on the bottom and light crack inside but otherwise beautiful. Perfect for display.
